Bankstown Sports Cycling - Juniors

At our club racing, juniors are graded according to both age and ability. (Subject to the number of entries)

In NSW, junior riders compete in the following age divisions . . . Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19. The ruling on age divisions goes something like this; Juniors are classed as what age they turn that year, ie. if little johny turns 9 this year he can not be under 9, he is under 11 etc. To confuse you more, the age divisions change at the start of the track season ( mid to late October ) brought forward from Jan.1 .This is to enable the same gear restrictions for the whole season, not changing after Xmas.
